Student Support
Students and parents need to review the Student's Rights and Responsibilities Handbook to ensure the understanding of student rights and the expectations that apply in both the in-person and virtual learning environments. The handbook is located on the HCS website under the student tab at the top of the homepage or can be accessed by clicking here. Students will receive a documentation page from their teacher in which the student and parent need to complete and submit as an assignment in Google classroom.
SBO form 55 – Student Directory Information needs to be completed if you did not complete the form last year or your child is new to Hampton City Schools. This form can be accessed and completed through Parent Portal at https://ps.hampton.k12.va.us/public/ on a computer or from the web browser on a smartphone or tablet instead of the mobile app, then select the Directory Information icon. Once the form is completed it is good for the duration of the child's academic career with Hampton City Schools.
