100 Dresses

Students were invited by the Hampton Chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority to attend the play "100 Dresses" performed by Hampton University students at HU. The Deltas paid for the student's tickets and purchased dresses for each of the 35 female 6th graders. The following day three of the students wore the dresses that they were given.

Hampton City Schools is going “greener” by implementing a new procedure for disseminating flyers. As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly, to embrace innovative technology, and to reach more families, we are moving to a digital flyer delivery method using the company, Peachjar.
